First aid training
We give over 400,000 people a year the skills to save lives. In our training centres, in schools and in the workplace. Our ultimate aim is for everybody to learn first aid. So that there’s always a life saver wherever and whenever they’re required.
First aid at events
Wherever people gather in crowds, somebody will need urgent medical attention. Our volunteers attended 11,000 events in 2022
Emergency response
The critical first minutes can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. We support the emergency services by being first on the scene. In 2022, St John people attended 104 cardiac arrests, gave 230,000 hours of emergency ambulance care, and saved lives.
